FAQs

  • I accept Mount Sinai Top Tier UMR plans and the Empire Plan (NYSHIP).

For all other insurances I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. If requested I will provide you with paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

  • Please contact me to discuss the fee. We will determine the fee prior to our first meeting, during our consultation call. I offer a sliding scale on a case-by-case basis, and am committed to collaborating with you around cost.

In accordance with the “No Surprises Act” that went into effect January 1, 2022, you have the right to request a “Good Faith Estimate” of the expected cost of my services.

  • Should you need to cancel or change your session, please do so at least 48 business hours in advance. For cancellations with less than 48 hour notice or no-shows, you will be responsible for the full session fee. Notify me as soon as possible so that we can try to reschedule, to avoid a charge. Please note cancellation fees are not eligible for reimbursement by your insurance company.

  • Reaching out can feel daunting, and I’ll do my best to help you feel comfortable. Start by completing the contact form. We will then schedule a free 15-minute consultation, where I hope to get a sense of what you’re looking for, answer any questions, and tell you what to expect from the therapy process. If we are a good fit, we will schedule our first therapy appointment.
